The Quick Cure Epoxy Resin should be fully cured after 4 hours. If it's still tacky, it could be due to low temperatures, incorrect measuring, or insufficient mixing. For assistance, please fill out our contact form or call us at (905) 370-1111.

In addition to the epoxy resin kit, we highly recommend purchasing protective gloves, measuring and mixing cups, stirring tools, and ensuring your area is well ventilated and protected with newspaper or plastic.

The estimated curing time for this resin is around 4 hours. However, if adding any pigments, powders, or other additives, the drying time may be increased.

Orders are typically ready for pick-up at our Toronto location about an hour after purchasing.

If you correctly follow the instructions included with each of our epoxy resin kits, our products will be food safe.

Although there are UV inhibitors in the epoxy to help resist yellowing, all epoxies will yellow over time. Therefore, it is not recommended you use this epoxy on your outdoor projects or projects that will be in direct sunlight (in a window).

Although this product is not meant for coating, it may be used in river tables/counters. However, keep in mind this is not a high heat epoxy. It will start to soften around 57° C (134° F) for New Classic Thick Pour Casting Resin and 48° C (118° F) for Table Top and Art Epoxy Resin. We always recommend using hot pads and coasters for hot pans, plates, coffee mugs, etc.

Without any added pigments or powders, the Tabletop & Art Resin dries to be completely clear.

Absolutely! All of our epoxy resin products can withstand freezing temperatures after fully curing.

All of our epoxy resin products have a 1-year shelf life in a room temperature setting.

We recommend using a multi-surface cleaning solution such as Windex and a clean cloth to gently wipe your fully-cured resin creations. 

No, we don’t include pumps on our kits; however, the resin is easy to pour right out of the bottle.

In order to achieve a matte finish, we suggest sanding your fully-cured project with a fine-grit sandpaper.

For best results, you can begin pouring a second layer once the previous layer feels tacky. This happens when the surface starts to feel like the sticky side of a piece of tape after a few hours to midway through the curing process.

Our epoxy measurements are based on volume. For example, our Tabletop and Art Resin uses a 1:1 ratio, which would mean 1 ounce of resin to 1 ounce of hardener.

T-12, 99 percent isopropyl alcohol, or a residue-free cleaner should be used to clean tools.

Please ensure to follow all federal, state, and local requirements when discarding the product and container. Any remaining product should be kept in the original bottles, tightly sealed and kept in a cool, dry place.

The epoxy should feel well-cured after 24 hours. However, a complete cure and maximum hardness can take up to 7-10 days, depending on temperature and the type of resin. If it is still tacky, this is likely due to incomplete or inaccurate mixing. For further questions and assistance, please contact our customer service team.

Our epoxy products should not be used over oil-based paint or stain. Unfortunately, oil-based treatments can leave an impermeable film on the surface, preventing the epoxy resin from adhering to it. This usually leads to a poor bond where the epoxy peels off easily.

You can start with a water-based clear coat and then apply the epoxy once it has fully cured. If the clear coat leaves a shine or gloss, you may want to scuff the surface with 320 grit sandpaper to ensure the epoxy sticks properly. If you do sand, make sure to clean the surface well before applying the epoxy. For best results, we recommend using Isopropyl Alcohol 99% to clean. When in doubt, don’t hesitate to email us with specific questions.

The amount of bubbles you can get will be determined by how quickly you mix. Even with a slow mix, some bubbles will inevitably form. To overcome this, we recommend torching your project every 15-20 minutes as it hardens until bubbles are no longer visible.
